Welcome to Builders of Hope
Skyrocketing land costs within the Raleigh city limits
have priced many average working families out of the market.
Raleigh’s median home cost now exceeds $223,000, making it
a challenge for many working families to qualify for, purchase and
stay in a home.
These working families, in search of affordable housing, have been
forced to move to outlying areas, settle for homes in a state of disrepair
or live in undesirable neighborhoods.
However, that was in the past. Now there’s hope for these
families.
Mission Statement
Our Mission is to increase the availability of high quality affordable housing through the development of single-family homes rescued from demolition and fully rehabilitated, integrating green building and renewable energy strategies and tying in with community programs that offer free healthcare, donated cars, and computers for every household, while providing whole-life enrichment programs for onsite labor positions through the offering of job training and mentor opportunities for individuals experiencing homelessness and chronic unemployment including At-Risk youth.
