Builders of Hope is partnering with the Raleigh Rescue Mission
in developing a Whole-Life Work Mentor Program.
This program will provide Mission residents, who are ready to
re-enter the work force, an opportunity to acquire marketable job skills
and competency in the field of Construction. This program will be offered
to qualifying Raleigh Rescue Mission residents that have shown steady
progress in the Mission’s various training programs and have expressed
interest in the Builders of Hope Whole-Life Work Mentor Program. This
program incorporates Goal Setting, Individual Skills & Interest Assessments,
Financial Mentoring, Relationship Accountability and On-the-Job-training.
Weekly Assessments will be compiled by the on-site construction manager
and the Raleigh Rescue Mission for each program participant. These assessments
will be used to track skill development and full-time job readiness.
Our hope is that this program will provide men and women an opportunity
to further develop the Whole Life skills necessary for their individual
success, as they strive to become self-sufficient, contributing members
of our community.
